This local celebration is part of a long history of nationwide Pride festivals and marches honoring the Stonewall riots of 1969, recognizing the progress achieved by LGBTQ+ pioneers and the ongoing fight for LGBTQ+ equality under the law. Through PrideFest, the Rainbow Alliance aims to provide a safe space and empower the community. Our own Nick Marinelli, an Associate in our Business & Finance Department, serves as a Member of the Rainbow Alliance’s Board of Directors.
