Pennsylvania Business Owners: If Your Business is Required to File a Decennial Report in 2021, Our Attorneys Can Assist You

If you own or manage an entity that is domiciled in or registered to do business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, please be aware that your entity may be required to file a Decennial Report with the Pennsylvania Department of State (the “DOS”) during 2021 in order to confirm the entity’s continued existence or use of its registered marks. An entity that is subject to this reporting obligation must file a Decennial Report with the DOS on or before December 31, 2021 to maintain its name exclusivity or the continued registration of its insignia/mark with the DOS, as applicable. An entity is excused from filing a Decennial Report if it made one or more new or amended filings with the DOS since December 31, 2011.

The Business & Finance Department at Rosenn, Jenkins & Greenwald, L.L.P. can assist you in determining whether your entity must file a Decennial Report with the DOS and can prepare such filing for your entity. If you are interested in learning more about these services, please contact Paul T. Rushton, Esq., Department Chair (prushton@rjglaw.com), or Christyan A. Telech, Esq. (ctelech@rjglaw.com) of our Business & Finance Department.
