On July 13, 2023, our own Lee Piatt attended the Grand Opening of the Pasco L. Schiavo Learning Center at the Luzerne Community College Hazleton Campus, at which Linda Schiavo had the honor of cutting the ribbon. Funded by the Luzerne Foundation through the Pasco L. Schiavo Memorial Fund, the Center provides much-appreciated new informal working space for individual study as well as collaborative projects. With funding provided by the Estate of Pasco L. Schiavo, Esq., the Pasco L. Schiavo Memorial Fund supports education and other philanthropic efforts in the Greater Hazleton and Weatherly Areas.
