Lackawanna County Approves Property Tax Reassessment – We Can Help

After years of hotly contested debate, the Lackawanna County Commissioners have recently voted to move forward with a property tax reassessment of all properties in the county. This reassessment could result in a property owner’s real estate taxes increasing, decreasing or generally staying the same based upon the new assessed value of the property as determined by the county.

Our Real Estate Department has successfully represented hundreds of property owners throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania in reducing their property taxes by filing tax assessment appeals for their properties. Our firm is here to answer your questions regarding the reassessment process and its potential impact on your property’s assessed value and real estate taxes and to represent you should you decide to appeal your property’s new assessment.
