Kieran Casey and Paul Rushton Presented at the 2022 Legal Update by NEPA SHRM on October 20, 2022

Our own Kieran Casey and Paul Rushton were among the speakers for the 2022 Legal Update that was presented at Misericordia University by NEPA SHRM on October 20, 2022.

Kieran presented seminars titled (i) “Hot Topics in Employment Law, including Managing Today’s Workforce”; (ii) “An Employer’s Guide to Complying with Pennsylvania’s Marijuana Law”; and (iii) “Understanding Employer Obligations under the ADA and the FMLA, and How These Laws Interact”.

In Paul’s presentation titled “Coming and Going: Considerations for Use and Contents of Employment and Separation Agreements”, he identified instances in which employers should consider the use of employment and separation agreements and the provisions that can (or in certain instances should) be included in such agreements.
