Jim Valentine Begins Three-Year Term on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors

Jim Valentine began a three-year term on the Pennsylvania Bar Association Board of Governors at the conclusion of the association’s Annual Meeting, May 17, in Lancaster.

One of 12 zone governors who serve on the PBA board, Jim will represent Bradford, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Monroe, Pike, Sullivan, Susquehanna, Wayne, and Wyoming counties.

Since 2009, Jim has been a member of the PBA House of Delegates, the association’s policymaking body. The PBA’s Board of Governors is the body that manages and carries out PBA policies as they are established by the House of Delegates.

Jim is a past chair of the PBA Labor and Employment Law Section, and for over 20 years he has served on the section’s council.

Jim has previously served as a member of the Wilkes-Barre Law and Library Association’s (Luzerne County Bar Association) Executive Committee.
