Consider a donation to the United Way of Wyoming Valley

The United Way of Wyoming Valley’s 2020 Annual Campaign was recently featured in a pair of articles appearing in our local papers. The articles, which include quotes from Bill Jones, the President and CEO of the United Way, and our own Paul T. Rushton, the Chair of the Annual Campaign, reference the increased need for funding for the United Way’s “safety net” grants due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The articles also note that fundraising for the United Way’s 2020 Annual Campaign is lagging behind last year’s Annual Campaign as a result of the impact of the pandemic. Accordingly, the United Way is requesting that anyone capable of giving to the Annual Campaign during this difficult time please consider a donation to this worthy cause.

To give to the United Way of Wyoming Valley, visit its website at www.unitedwaywb.org, text SUPPORT to 26989, mail a donation to United Way of Wyoming Valley, 100 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18701 or call 570-829-6711, ext. 1249.
