Kudos to the United Way of Wyoming Valley on its continued efforts to help children improve their reading skills. As part of National Summer Learning Week, the United Way of Wyoming Valley held a special Summer Edition of its Reading Buddies program with children at Wyoming Valley Catholic Youth Center last week. Our own Paul T. Rushton, the Chair of RJG’s Business & Finance Department, was among the volunteers that read to children as part of the program. National Summer Learning Week is a celebration dedicated to elevating the importance of keeping kids learning, safe, and healthy every summer. Thanks to the United Way of Wyoming Valley for all of the great work that it performs in our community.
