Wilkes-Barre Business Law Firm

Rosenn, Jenkins & Greenwald LLP: A Community Leader Since 1954

Rosenn, Jenkins & Greenwald LLP has been a leader in both law and community service for over 50 years. The firm was founded in 1954 by the late Max Rosenn, former Senior Judge, United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and Harold Rosenn, a recognized attorney who is currently Of Counsel to the firm.

The brothers formed the second law partnership ever established in northeastern Pennsylvania, then sought out highly-qualified attorneys to expand their practice. They looked for attorneys who possessed three qualities — integrity, ability and compatibility.

They exhausted a list of approximately 300 lawyers practicing in northeast Pennsylvania before selecting two attorneys. They choose Mitchell Jenkins, a former U.S. Congressman and Brigadier General, and Henry Greenwald, a renowned corporate lawyer.

The firm grew rapidly from a small local practice into a large, multi-disciplinary regional law firm serving clients throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the northeast. With five departments — Business and Finance, Real Estate, Estates and Tax, Labor and Employment and Litigation — Rosenn, Jenkins & Greenwald LLP has become a leading firm with the capacity to effectively resolve a broad spectrum of legal matters faced by our clients.

Community Leadership

At Rosenn, Jenkins & Greenwald LLP, we carry on a tradition of community leadership started by Max and Harold Rosenn, Mitchell Jenkins and Henry Greenwald. For more than 50 years, our attorneys have been involved in extensive philanthropic endeavors throughout northeast Pennsylvania.

Community involvement is a concept deeply rooted in the foundation of our law firm and continues to be a top priority. Today, those that represent our firm in the community do so through memberships and involvement as volunteers, board members and attorneys providing pro-bono legal services to various non-profit organizations.

Our work includes meaningful affiliations with the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Alzheimer's Association, Salvation Army Philanthropic Foundations, United Way, Volunteers of America, Victims' Resource Center, UNICO, Rotary Clubs and Chambers of Commerce, as well as other organizations. We consider it both a responsibility and a privilege to give back to the communities that have been so instrumental in defining who we are today.
