PRACTICE
Jennifer Stull is a member of the Business & Finance Department of the firm. Her practice focuses on assisting companies with mergers and acquisitions, the drafting of contracts, the formation of various business entities, and other general business matters. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and is active in the Young Lawyers Division of the Luzerne County Bar Association.
A summa cum laude graduate of King’s College, Jennifer received her law degree from The Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University (J.D. 2008) where she served as a member of the Editorial Board of the World Arbitration and Mediation Review and was inducted into the Woolsack Honor Society based on her academic achievement. While in law school, Jennifer was an intern for a federal judge in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania and also worked as a Certified Legal Intern at the law school’s Disability Law Clinic. For her work in the Disability Law Clinic, Jennifer was named a Public Interest Advocate by the Miller Center for Public Interest Advocacy, a program which recognizes students who perform at least sixty hours of public service work during their law school careers. After working as a Summer Associate at RJG for both summers during law school, Jennifer joined the firm as an Associate in 2008.
REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS
- Assisted in the representation of a document imaging and storage company in its multi-million dollar acquisition of the assets of another entity.
- Counseled contractors in revising their contracts to comply with the new Pennsylvania Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act.
- While in law school, wrote the final merits brief to the Third Circuit in Brownawell v. Astrue, 554 F.3d 352 (3rd Cir. 2008), which resulted in a rare victory for an individual in an SSI benefit denial case. The news release can be read here.
